MPA in Public Administration›
"My area of expertise is with UAG’s Medical Coding and Billing after years of experience in the health insurance arena and teaching at various community colleges. I attained a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration with a specialty in health care at the University of Michigan. I have been with Grantham and UAG for 15 years along the journey of building the medical billing and coding program. My favorite experience in teaching is that moment when the light bulb goes off and the students are able to connect the dots associated with the complex coding systems. I love mentoring students with a goal of providing new opportunities in their career path."

"I teach in the College of Business. I specialize in Organizational Behavior and MBA Capstone courses. I have a BBA from Baker University, Baldwin City, Kansas; a Master of Science in Business (Organizational Behavior) and a PhD in Business (Organization Theory) both from the University of Kansas. I have been teaching at UAG since 2014; part of that time I also worked in the administration of the College of Business. I have been teaching at the university level since 1995. I love teaching at UAG. I have many great memories of working with various teams to improve the student experience and the quality of education offered here. When I arrived at this university, I only had experience in on-ground schools. It was a great feeling to learn and understand how on-line education works and the impact we can have."

This is my seventh year at UAG and I have been teaching full time since 2014. I enjoy working with students who are learning about electrical engineering for the first time. It is hard for the students because you cannot see electricity, you have to build a sense of what electricity is doing, and this is done through practice."
