UA Grantham team members undergo extensive training and professional development to ensure that the advice given is tailored for you. They receive training on the university’s history; codes, rules, and regulations—covering our expectations of each student interaction; compliant conversations; ethical treatment of students; misrepresentation; Military Bill of Rights from the SOC; accreditation; fraud; FERPA, PII, and ADA—addressing the the importance of protecting student personally identifiable information and non-discrimination; degree programs overview and program basics—including how our programs are set up and what a student can expect.
Student advisors and admissions representatives go through additional training and are knowledgeable on funding, catalog, systems, processes, military tuition assistance and veterans education benefits, and are focused on understanding and ethically helping military and former military students and their family members. Both groups are able to direct students to the appropriate resources for setting up their TA and VA education benefits.

Connect with teachers and subject matter experts for live, one-on-one tutoring sessions. UA Grantham students receive four hours of live tutoring per month via Tutor.com. Tutors are available for most courses/subjects and can be accessed directly in Blackboard.
Stuck on a tricky math problem or need help writing a paper? Students can access helpful academic resources like study tips, tutorials, workshops and an online library through UA Grantham’s Teaching and Learning Center. If you’re struggling with coursework, the learning center can help.
