University of Arkansas Grantham accepts transfer academic credit from institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education. Previously taken courses that are out of date in regards to latest developments, practices, or technology are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
In order for UA Grantham to evaluate potential transfer credit, the student is responsible for ensuring official transcripts are on file for all previously attended institutions prior to course registration.
Transfer credit is granted on a course-by-course basis for courses with content and value that’s equivalent to corresponding UA Grantham course(s). Credit will not be granted for courses in which the content duplicates material of a previously completed course or an examination for which credit has already been granted — with the exception of repeats for deficient course grades.
An official transcript is one sent directly to University of Arkansas Grantham from the Registrar of the issuing educational institution. If you wish to transfer credit, all official transcripts must be on file with UA Grantham and evaluated prior to course registration.
