Bio

My area of expertise is with UAG’s Medical Coding and Billing after years of experience in the health insurance arena and teaching at various community colleges. I attained a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration with a specialty in health care at the University of Michigan. I have been with Grantham and UAG for 15 years along the journey of building the medical billing and coding program. My favorite experience in teaching is that moment when the light bulb goes off and the students are able to connect the dots associated with the complex coding systems. I love mentoring students with a goal of providing new opportunities in their career path.
