Outstanding FacultyWinter 2025Julie CrolyJulia “Julie” Croly has worked in the health insurance arena for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has supported a wide range of functions, including Actuarial, Underwriting, Provider Relations, Fraud and Abuse, Compliance, and Health Economics.
Currently working as a healthcare consultant, her focus is on health information technology and medical billing and coding. For several years, she served as an adjunct medical coding professor at colleges in North Carolina and Hawaii. She has also been teaching at the University of Arkansas Grantham for 16 years.
Julie has been actively involved with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), serving on its National Advisory Board from 2007–2011. She has authored numerous articles on ICD-10-CM and has contributed to various medical coding publications.
She is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Michigan and resides in Venice, Florida, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Outstanding FacultySummer 2025Bill WilliamsBill Williams, the recipient of UA Grantham’s Outstanding Faculty Award, is a caring and inspirational educator within the College of Business. He enjoys meeting students where they are on their educational journey and facilitating their success. He optimizes the student experience by creating an environment of trust and respect where students can be vulnerable and collaborate. Bill joined UA Grantham in 2009 and has earned his MBA from the University of Colorado and his BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional. Graduate Gaspar Orts, Bachelor of Business Administration, said “Bill Williams inspires not only students in education, but also in life. His feedback and the one-on-one conversations, were of incredible value as both a student and a person. A very interpersonal instructor who cares greatly for his students, and would also take the time to guide us each and every step of the way.”

Outstanding FacultyWinter 2024Greg GildersleeveGreg Gildersleeve, the recipient of UA Grantham's Outstanding Faculty Award, is a passionate writer and teacher of writing within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He enjoys helping students develop their abilities to use writing for personal fulfillment and to accomplish professional goals.
Greg, who joined Grantham in 2013, earned his BA in English from Missouri Western State University and MA in English from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is currently pursuing his EdD in Instructional Design and Performance Technologies through Baker University, Baldwin City, KS. Greg is the author of the Young Adult novels The Power Club and The Secret Club and the comic book Gold Dust, as well as numerous articles and poetry.

Outstanding FacultySummer 2024Tina GibsonTina Gibson, the recipient of UA Grantham’s Outstanding Faculty Award, is a passionate educator within the College of Health Professions’ Medical Administrative Assistant program. She finds great joy in helping her students succeed and is always looking for ways to motivate and inspire them. She believes that the most important thing is to treat each student as she would want to be treated. Tina joined UA Grantham in 2014 and has earned her MBA – Health Care Management from Capella University and her BS in Social Psychology from Park University.

Outstanding FacultyWinter 2023Nancy HillNancy Hill, the recipient of UA Grantham’s Outstanding Faculty Award, is a respected and versatile instructor in information systems, computer science and cybersecurity, and is dedicated to providing students the skills they need to succeed after graduation. She feels a sense of accomplishment when students succeed in their goals. Nancy, has earned her BS Math/Computer Science from Truman State University, and MS Information Technology, MS Educational Technology, EdS Educational Technology, and Graduate Certification Online Teaching & Learning from the University of Central Missouri. She joined UA Grantham in 2013, and has been an instructor in a wide variety of courses in the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.

Outstanding FacultySummer 2023Crystal SearsCrystal Sears—a respected and versatile instructor in communications dedicated to providing students with the skills and willpower they need to succeed after graduation—is the recipient of UA Grantham’s Outstanding Faculty Award. Crystal, who has a PhD in communication, joined UA Grantham in 2012 and has been an instructor for a range of communication courses, such as interpersonal communications and public speaking. Her goal is to empower her students in the classroom, so they feel comfortable and knowledgeable enough to make a difference in their occupations and communities.
