University of Arkansas Grantham Earns Reaccreditation Through 2031

UA Grantham is proud to announce that the university’s accreditor, the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) has renewed the university's accreditation through June 2031, following a comprehensive review of every aspect of the institution.
For students, accreditation is more than a seal of approval. It is an independent confirmation that the University continues to meet high standards for educational quality, student support, ethical business practices, and institutional effectiveness. It means that when you earn a degree from UA Grantham, you can be confident that your education is backed by an institution committed to excellence.
Every five years, DEAC conducts an in-depth evaluation of UA Grantham. The review examines every area of the institution, including academic programs, faculty qualifications, student services, technology, finances, marketing, governance, and overall institutional effectiveness. The process includes submission by the university of a detailed self-study, an on-site review by a visiting team of peer evaluators, and a thorough assessment by the Commission before a renewal decision is made.
Successfully completing this review reflects the dedication of our faculty and staff, who work every day to provide quality online educational experience. It also reflects the determination of our students, whose hard work and success demonstrate the strength of the university and its mission.
“The Commission recognized UA Grantham's adherence to educational standards,” remarked Lindsay Bridgeman, Chancellor of UA Grantham. “We are committed to continuous improvement in support of our students' education; this has guided our University for decades, and continues to shape everything we do. We are thankful to the DEAC site visit team for their time, thorough review, and holding us to a high standard.”
“For prospective students exploring an online degree, UA Grantham’s renewed accreditation reflects the university’s ongoing dedication to delivering affordable, high-quality online education backed by rigorous academic standards and exceptional student support.” said Chancellor Bridgeman. “We hold our students to high standards, and they can rest assured knowing that their school is as well”.
