Grantham University Named a 2021-2022 Military Spouse Friendly School

By Brandon Swenson

Lenexa, Kan., April 23, 2021 — UA Grantham, an online university, announced today that it has been designated a Military Spouse Friendly® School for the 2021-2022 cycle. In addition to holding this title, Grantham also was ranked as a top 10 non-traditional Military Friendly® School.

The list of Military Friendly® Schools and Military Friendly® Schools ratings are assessed through the evaluation of both public data about the institution and proprietary data gathered through our free Military Friendly® Schools survey. The annual, data-driven Military Friendly® Schools survey assessment is offered at no cost to more than 8,800 institutions nationwide. Each year, schools taking the survey are held to a higher standard than in previous years via improved methodology, criteria and weightings developed with the assistance of an independent research firm and our Advisory Council.

Specifically, to earn the military friendly school designation, an institution must have at least a 50 percent graduation rate, a one- and two-year retention rate of at least 50 percent, a loan default rate 20 percent or lower and a job placement rate of at least 50 percent.

“We are honored to be recognized among so many other wonderful institutions,” said Lindsay Bridgeman, interim president of UA Grantham. “This designation not only affirms to the public that Grantham provides unmatched quality for our veteran students, but is an internal confirmation that our professors and curriculum prepare students for life beyond graduation.”

This is the third year that Grantham has been recognized. Learn more about how UA Grantham does more for Military Spouse's online education.
