The Multidisciplinary Studies degree program allows you to tailor a degree to your career specializations. The broad-based arts and sciences curriculum provides an opportunity to study relevant issues in fields such as communications, sociology, psychology, humanities and other areas that help hone leadership skills for career success. The diverse curriculum can be further customized through our concentration in homeland security.

The Multidisciplinary Studies program has the following concentration:

Program Outcomes

  • Effectively communicate, incorporate and synthesize knowledge from at least two disciplines
  • Demonstrate a theoretical and conceptual foundation in two disciplines included in the liberal arts degree
  • Demonstrate acquired skills in research, writing and presentation across two disciplines
  • Distinguish the differences in principles and methods between two disciplines
  • Use critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems
