LITTLE ROCK, Ark June 12, 2025 – University of Arkansas Grantham announced today the award winners for the 2025 Summer Graduation, featuring the Outstanding Graduate, Outstanding Faculty, and Student Service awards.

Each June and December, University of Arkansas Grantham, a 100% online university, honors the graduates from the previous six months and recognizes an Outstanding Graduate, selected from the top graduates of that class, and the Outstanding Faculty and Student Service recipients, based on their dedication to student success.

Christina Self, recipient of the Summer 2025 Outstanding Graduate Award, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications degree in April. Self, a Springdale, Ark. resident, said, “Earning my degree from UA Grantham is something I’m really proud of because it helped me grow—not just for myself, but for the people around me. This journey pushed me in all the right ways and truly changed me for the better.”

The Outstanding Faculty Award recipient, William Williams, joined UA Grantham’s College of Business Administration and Management faculty in 2009. He enjoys meeting students where they are on their educational journey and facilitating their success. “He inspires not only students in education, but also in life. His feedback and the one on one conversations, were of incredible value as a student and as a person,” said Gaspar Orts, a former student.

Timothy McKinney, recipient of the Student Service Award, works in Financial Aid ensuring students have the means to continue their education. He finds that being part of the university’s success and contributing to each student’s journey is incredibly rewarding. What motivates him most is knowing that the work we do makes a real difference in their ability to reach both academic and personal milestones.

The Summer Class of 2025 comprises more than 400 students representing all 50 states, as well as Germany and Nigeria, with Arkansas, Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina featuring the most graduates. This graduating class features 35% graduating with honors, 11.5 % with a 4.0 GPA, and is 60% female, with 30% military and veteran. The Medical Coding and Billing certificate and associate programs top the list of most graduates, followed by the Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology, and MBA in Project Management degree programs.
