UA Grantham is the launch school for a new UA System – SkillsWave partnership
SkillsWave, an upskilling company that provides a network of high-quality education options to propel businesses and their employees forward, announced a new partnership with the University of Arkansas System on Sept. 30, 2024.
This collaboration will see the launch of three bachelor of business administration programs with concentrations in logistic and supply chain management, operations management, and financial planning. This partnership also welcomes two new master’s programs to the SkillsWave catalog: Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Leadership.
The partnership will initially launch with University of Arkansas Grantham, a 100% online university that offers flexible course and program options that fit the busy schedules of the adult learners employed by SkillsWave’s corporate clients. UA Grantham offers online programs in workforce-relevant fields, featuring classes that start monthly, eight-week courses, and no set class times.
“We’re excited about the impact our partnership with the University of Arkansas System will have on lifelong learners looking to balance work and life with their career goals,” said Sasha Thackaberry, President at SkillsWave. “The addition of UA Grantham’s bachelor’s and master’s programs to the SkillsWave catalog is another way for our partners’ learners to access high-quality education. This partnership will capitalize on the importance of corporate upskilling and high-impact career growth.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with SkillsWave to help reach even more adult learners with our flexible, award-winning courses and programs that are tailored to the needs of lifelong learners,” said Michael Moore, University of Arkansas System Vice President for Academic Affairs. “Providing academic and professional opportunities to develop intellectual growth and cultural awareness is at the forefront of what we do; the opportunity to reach more students and meet them where they are as they seek to grow is an exciting and meaningful endeavor.”
