Enhance your Skill, Set a Solid Foundation for Growth

Our online Associate of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology degree is optimal if you’re looking to obtain knowledge of practical applications and concepts in engineering technology. While many engineering technology programs begin with calculus, this program begins with algebra — an ideal opportunity if you have completed minimal coursework in math, are seeking development of complementary skills, or are interested in interdisciplinary study, which is beneficial if you’d like to pursue a career in fields such as environmental engineering, biomedical engineering, or engineering management.

This program emphasizes hands-on experience, the enhancement of critical and creative thinking skills—as careers in engineering technology require the ability to generate innovative solutions to complex problems—and effective written, verbal and visual communication. Coursework builds a foundation in circuit theory and design, digital and analog electronics, as well as computer programming.

The completion of this program establishes a foundation for further study, as it satisfies the first two years of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology and the Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology degree programs.

This program is applicable for working professionals in roles including electronics technician, computer support specialist, quality control inspector, telecommunications equipment installer, repair technician, technical writer, engineering technician, and similar who are seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills.
