Going back to school for a healthcare degree was not easy for me. I had been struggling over the death of my younger brother, my mother's recent diagnosis of heart failure, and my father's diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. I just knew that I wanted to make them proud before anything else happened. And I did. I worked hard, pushed through with being a full-time student and a full-time employee.
