UA Grantham Strategic Plan

UA Grantham Strategic Plan

The University of Arkansas Grantham Strategic Plan is mission-driven and focused on communicating its ongoing commitment for providing quality, accessible, affordable, professionally relevant programs in a continuously changing global society.

The three strategic priorities for the University are Student Success, Student Experience, and University Excellence.

These priorities and the initiatives that roll up to each are assessed annually as part of the Institutional Effectiveness Planning efforts. Each fiscal year action items are identified with metrics such as target completion, budget requirements and oversight responsibility outlined. Action items are consistently monitored through various data inputs including reports, surveys, outcomes assessment analysis, and stakeholder feedback.

UA System Strategic Pillars

In late 2025 under the leadership of the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas and President Jay B. Silveria, the UA System developed an updated mission and a set of pillars to guide the state’s largest higher education system into the future.

The Board of Trustees approved the revised mission at its September 2025 meeting and the accompanying six guiding pillars at its November 2025 meeting. The six pillars are incorporated into the UA System’s updated mission statement and reflect priorities as a system. They will be used to help the Board and senior leadership of the system guide its work and measure progress in the coming years
