July 2024 - Renea Smith-Moore, Evaluation Specialist

"Listening to some of Alec's interactions with his students, he is always professional and asks open-ended questions to help guide the conversation. He does a great job making every interaction count and he finds ways to motivate his students when needed. Thank you Alec, for putting your heart into every interaction! March 2024 - Aaron Weddle, Web Developer II
"I had an urgent request (on a Friday afternoon!) to get the Career Site updated with new links and info for candidates to have access to accurate information now that we are officially "the University of Arkansas Grantham" employer. Aaron took this request and was able to get the site updated before the weekend when candidates would likely be browsing the site. Our urgent request happened to fall at the same time Aaron was staging some critical changes to the website for the catalog and the tuition increase. Even with this critical release, Aaron graciously took the time to get our changes in last minute! Thank you so much for your dedication and willingness to work with HR to ensure a great website experience for potential candidates!"
February 2024 - Ryan Yeager, Senior Manager, Student Advising
"Everyone on the Yeagermeister team is nominating Ryan Yeager for Talon of the Month. The best word to describe him in "exceptional." He's an excellent listener, motivator, leader...He pushes us to be the best possible versions of ourselves, both professionally and personally. I have worked with Ryan for 10 years here at the university and I would say he is the sole reason I've continued to love my job as much as I do. Thank you, Ryan, for continuing to lead the ship! January 2024 - Matt Harrison, Document Processing Specialist
"Every day Matt is our "man in the office" who handles the physical side of a remove university. The MAIL. Thank you, MATT, for always getting our student's final transcripts and diplomas packaged and mailed. For our graduates especially, getting that tangible proof that they've earned their degree from us is really special. I hope each month gets busier and busier for you!"
