Specializations in Criminal Justice

Students seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice can select from one of two specializations. Each specialization is concentrated on a prevalent sector in criminal justice. The criminal justice degree covers a broader range of subjects than the specialized criminal justice programs, allowing students to expand and strengthen their knowledge base. Required coursework builds a foundation and skillset in advanced criminal justice theory and crime, the practice of law enforcement and the U.S. judicial system, which includes adult and juvenile corrections.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences prepares students for today’s workplace through the innovative use of online learning tools and curriculum designed to meet the expectations of fast-evolving employment markets.
