Was there an instructor or faculty member who influenced or impacted your time at UA Grantham?
Professor Mark Glenn was one of the only professors who showed he cares for his students through his actions. He requested a phone call with each of his students prior to the start of the course to get to know them and for them to know the expectations. He was easy to reach and thoughtful in his grading leaving constructive commentary to develop skills. Extremely supportive and the only instructor to encourage future higher education.Did anyone from Student Support help or guide you along your educational journey at UA Grantham?
Stacey Jones was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process from the merging of eVersity and Grantham and how credits transferred to concerns with finances and switching classes around to help manage school, life, and work. She Has checked in with every term and has helped answered questions as they come up even when they weren’t necessarily responsibility to answer. Went above and beyond student advisor I have ever worked with. Please tell us your story:
I am a mother of two children under the age of 10, a wife of an extremely supportive husband and full-time employee. My time at UA Grantham has seen several life changes that challenged my motivation. From renovating a house and moving to a new town, becoming a first-time sports parent where practices/games take up 5 days/week, and 2 promotions adding responsibilities, to watching loved one’s pass. The flexibility and support from the UA Grantham staff have been commendable. My Husband has been my main source of support with taking over all household chores, encouraging & pushing me on the nights I wanted to give up. Counting down the weeks to remind me how close I was to my goal and seeing the excitement he had was just as great as mine was fantastic.Explore our Programs
